Reservations

Our production site is now open for tastings by appointment. We are located in downtown Truckee on South River Street. This is an intimate, micro farm with a homestead onsite. We have been producing our award winning wines here since 1996, and now are showcasing this space for guests.

Due to the nature of this unique location, tastings and tables are limited to reservation only and certain days of the week.

For this Spring we will be offering outdoor garden seating with the firepits and blankets available and limited seating in the winery amongst the barrels.

• Thursdays 12p-6p: Industry Days! Now until May 15th-local W+F+B employees enjoy Industry discounts and offerings. 
  Please bring a current paystub to enjoy discount. Open to the public for tastings, by the glass or bottle.
• Fridays 12p-6p: Open to the public for tastings, by the glass or bottle.
• Saturdays 11a-6p: Open to the public for tastings, by the glass or bottle.
• Sundays 11a-4p: Wine Down Happy Hour! 12:00p-2:00p. Open to the public for tastings, by the glass or bottle.

Please note Truckee River Winery will be closed Saturday May 11th and Sunday May 12th-we will be holding our Spring Farm Party at our sister winery on Saturday May 11th.

TRW Tasting Options: 

• Tahoe Elevated Winter Bubble Tasting: Be fully immersed in Truckee’s beautiful scenery while enjoying a luxury picnic experience. Truckee River Winery & Tahoe Elevated Picnics is offering a Winter picnic special that includes a one-of-a-kind winery experience within a cozy, 12x12 transparent heated bubble yurt! 6 varietal curated tasting, cheese and charcuterie board and tour with one of Truckee River Winery's winemaker. Guests may take home a souvenir wine glass to remember their experience! *Reservations must be made more than 24 hours in advance. 
  This Winter picnic special is available for 4-8 guests per bubble yurt, Wed-Sun, for 3 hours. (weather dependent.) 
  $151.55/person inclusive
   
• Tahoe Elevated Winemaker Experience: Truckee River Winery has paired with Tahoe Elevated Picnics to create a truly one of a kind experience. 6 varietal curated tasting, cheese and charcuterie board and tour with one of Truckee River Winery's winemaker. Guests may take home a souvenir wine glass to remember their experience! *Reservations must be made more than 24 hours in advance.  
  For the winter season, this is limited to 1-4 people per reservation, Wed-Sun for 3 hours. 
  Bookings are for outside by a firepit or inside next to the fireplace, weather depending.
  $125.00/person inclusive
   
• Signature 5 varietal tasting:  This in-depth winery tasting follows the path of the grape from the vineyard to the cellar to the finished wine for 5 of our signature varietals, to be enjoyed amongst the barrels and tanks, or outside on the patio! Please allow a minimum of 1.5 hours to enjoy.
  $25.00/person
   
• 4 Varietal Barn Tasting: Includes 1 white, 2 roses and 1 red all part of our infamous Barn series. This option is great for individuals that may want a faster, lighter style tasting option. Please allow a minimum of 45 minutes to enjoy.
  $15.00/person

174 Winery in Cedar Ridge is a new venture for Truckee Family Wines, and was built in August of 2022. At this time, we are only offering tastings, tours and more to our wine club members during Open House weeks (and weekends). We are working towards building a tasting room, and look forward to the years ahead.

• Sierra Foothills Farm Party: Saturday May 11th 1:00p-6:00p. Our May wines will be showcased, alongside a 3 course paired meal created by our house chef, Willy Carroll. 

Wine Club Offerings:

• Wednesday April 17th through Saturday April 20th: 11:00a-5:00p, a fun and festive paired tasting for wine club members. Advanced reservations are required for this tasting.
